What is it like to work with you?
Taking portraits should be a fun experience not a burden! It is our goal, whether we are photographing your wedding or your family that you feel comfortable with us and in front of our lenses! We build relationships with our clients and love to hear your stories. Both of us spent years (and one of us still does) planning events, so we are both detail-orientated with the overall big picture in mind.
Will you choose a location for our portraits?
Your photoshoot is specifically about you-so that means choosing a location that means something special to you or your family. This could be a local park, gardens, or a cityscape. We are natural light photographers, so we photograph primarily outdoors. We love visiting new locations, so let's decide together the place that is best suited for you!
What do I wear during a session?
We want you to be comfortable during your photos. If there are multiple people getting their photos taken, consider color matching or choosing colors that are part of the same color palette. If you are stumped check out our Pinterest page for some ideas!
How long is a session?
A typical session is between 1-1 1/2 long, depending on the number of people involved and location. Newborn sessions can be up to two hours.
Can I take photographs with my animal?
Absolutely! As dog owners we understand how important animals are to family dynamics. We have taken pictures with horses, dogs, pigs and bearded dragons! Please note however, that your animal must be well-mannered and ready for photos.

When will I get my photos?
You will receive your photos from your session in two weeks or less from the date that the session occured. Wedding photos take longer, but you will receive them in approximately a month after your special day.
Do you create design work from my photos?
We can take your photos and turn them into birth announcements, birthday invites, save the dates, or just about anything you are interested in. We can also print your work. All wedding inquiries please as about our packages.
Will I be able to make prints?
Yes, yes! We will give you all edited photos and rights to these photos. Once you have your photos feel free to make prints. However, if you are crunched on time let us take care of this for you and we can order prints or canvas
wrapped photographs.
